Assignment 1

For this assignment you will explore some of the popular writing on macroeconomics right now. Your job is to find a newsletter, blog, substack, regular opinion column, etc… that you think you might be interested in following. There are a ton of good ones - you can use my list or search for your own.

Write up a short description (what’s the format, who writes it, what kinds of topics does it cover) and submit by email. In addition, read the most recent post/article/newsletter, and be prepared to discuss in class.
